What is it and how does one get it on a shiney stainless firearm?

Any other options for a durable, not shiney, stainless finish?

Have a Ruger M77MkII V/T that has this finish and have used it for years. The finish stays with no shiny spots or wear.

Check with Magna-port thay have a bead blast finish that will take the shiny away from a stainless revolver.

Can you Parkerize stainless steel?
