You did good at that price. I've heard of folks giving close to 600 for 'em.

I have the same rifle and really like it alot. I have been loading mainly 44sp loads to be shot in it as my 9 year old son has adopted this one as his. I have added WWG Happy trigger and bear proof ejector. Mine has been fired approximately 500 rds with NO problems at all.

I have the Wild West triggers in both of my 1895's. They are well worth the cost. You might want to take a look at those some time.
