This question is for "Red Pepper". I have an 1885 in 270WSM. What scope bases are you using and did you have to modify for proper boresight allignment? Thanks in advance for your response.

I answered this in a PM, but for anyone else interested I scoped my 1885 High Wall Hunter with Leupold 1885 High Wall bases, Leupold Medium Height rings, and a Leupold VX-II 2-7x33 compact scope. No modifications needed; everything screws together nicely and works well.
