I've got the sitres that show the 94 Marlin and Winny breakdowns with accompanying pics for us dummies who can't just follow narratives.
Anyone got a tutorial with pics on the rossi/emf/92 breakdown? I read the narrative and it seems more complicated [ more detailed and more involved ].
Thanks

Might try one of the firearms assembly/disassembly books found in your local library or bookstore. Took a notepad with me and jotted down the step-by-steps for the '92 and since the book came with pictures, it made more sense. Might be some slight changes from the original '92s due to the Rossi being a later design but shouldn't be anything there that you can't handle. Best wishes.

I need the pics, I have the narrative.
I'll check the library and see if I can copy the pics from the book.
Thanks

Thanks Steve,
I had found that in the interim and saved it to the files for reference. I'll be doingjust that with the 92 in the future.
Now if I could only get someone to tell me something about that interarms 92 44 mag I bought the other day. I can't find diddly about the company, problems [ if any ] with their 92's or if they are just the same 92's and suffer the same overbore from rossi as the newer ones.
Usually something is pecular to the maker and importer from others experiences, but afer 30 odd voews, no one has given any advice or suggested any information that might be relevant for me to watch for with that rifle.
In the meantime, I'm enjoying the 357 lever immensely.
Thanks again

Brownie, I dont know much about the Rossi's that used to be imported through Interarms. As far as the bore, I would slug it and see what it measures. My undestanding is that not all the Rossi's chambered in 44Mag are overbored. Mine sure is though (.432)and thank goodness for Lee custom six cavity molds.:) I used to have problems with leading and poor accuarcy but not anymore sice I cast good fitting bullets:cool:
You may want to contact Steve Young and I'm sure he can help you out with just about any info you need....Steve

I was thinking of talking with steve, good suggestion.
as to slugging the bore, I don't reload that caliber and have no idea how to do it, I shoot jacketed at the moment, nor do I want to reload for that caliber.
If it shoots like crap, it gets sold, I'll not deal with it.
Thanks again
