Anyone know of where someone can find varmints to shoot in MN (preferably south-central)? Coyotes?

Man, I'd guess just about anywhere around there... run the ditches, shoot anything that moves as long as there isn't a season on it... I know of a group that goes yote hunting around the Wilmar area, I've never been with, but from what i hear they get 50 - 60 a year just chasing them out of drainage ditches..

Ekoch check Varmit Al's website. He's got some good advice on calling and you can download some of his calling sounds to see what they sound like.
A couple of mouth calls are pretty inexpensive and very effective. Camo is nice, but not necessary. Al has a homemade set of shooting sticks that help steady a rifle for longer shots. Expect shooting ranges from 75 to 300 yards.
good luck on your yote hunting.

check out the mn. hunting regs, this year you can use spotlights for coyotes and some other furbearers, but with shotguns only. this should help a lot. i'm going to try it to **** w/ the ol fullmoon on snow only thing. i live west of mpls. good luck.
