I am acquiring a Winchester Model 94 manufactured in 1928 which was owned by my uncle. It is caliber .25-35. I am having difficulty locating a source of ammo for this rifle. Any suggestions? Seattle/Tacoma Washington area. Thanks
Jack.

Winchester loads it and dies and brass are available. You might have to search a little but it's out there or can be ordered. It's a great little cartridge that's fun to shoot.

Where would I look to order some?
Assuming I can find some, can 6.5x52R mm ammo be substituted directly for .25-35 WIN ammo in a model 94 Winchester lever gun? No one seems to have .25-35 in this corner of the hundred acre woods and I am not equipped for reloading....yet.... ?

And what about the direct substitution of 6.5x52Rmm for the .25-35 Win? Will that work?

So far, I have received no information regarding the 6.5x52Rmm round. Is it available at all in the U.S.?
BTW, I did find several boxes of .25-35 Win on the shelf at a new store which opened in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Very spendy, though. I am considering getting a Lee loader and rolling my own (assuming I can find brass and bullets).
