The front sights on my Marlin 1894CP suck! Has anyone put a brass bead on the front sight?

I put Williams firesights on mine. In an indoors gallery it is only some improvement but outdoors it is a dramatic improvement as the fiber optics light up like a billboard.

In addition to fiber, Williams also sells bead front sights. XS sells a white stripe ramp blade that I like much better.

I don't know about a lever action, but the William fire sights are fantastic. Had a set on a couple of muzzle loaders and for old eyes they sure work well.
