Where can I go HOG hunting- BIG HOGS in Florida? What does a non resident liscense cost?

Non-resident hunting annual is $151.50. 10 day is $46.50 Management area permit is $26.50

There is No bag limit or size limit on hogs. Would hope that no one would shoot a sow with unweened piglets. Our rule is 15 inches at the shoulder.

Be careful of the "guided" hunts. Lots of them are "canned" hunts or put and take. You want to make sure that there are NO fences involved,anywhere you will be hunting.

Hogs cover the entire state of Fla. The bigger ones are in the southern part of the state. For the larger hogs use the large caliber,slow moving bullets. Hardcast work great. When after the larger ill tempered boar,I will use my .50 Boewulf,.45-70,or .444Marlin. An auto is great for the very close shots. Snake boots are used down here for more than just snakes. They will help prevent a very nasty cut from a cornered boar or sow.
