I am looking for opinions and experiences with left-handed shotguns. My brother is left-handed and on our last couple of pheasant-hunting trips, he has found his under-over to have too few shots. When we find the birds, there are very often more than two of them there.
He really wants a semi-auto, but it seems that the options are extremely limited. I am aware that Remington, Benelli and Charles Daly make LH versions, but there don't seem to be a lot of configuration options. A good pump hasn't been ruled out, but a semi-auto would be preferred.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Don't know about the auto's, but the Browning BPS kicks the shells out the bottom. Still has a right hand safety. I al right handed but have shot left handed all my life. The safeties have never been an issue for me. I got used to it and flip it off without even twitching. Something to concider. I would like to have a left handed semi auto also, but don't know where to get one.

The semi's that are lefty configured have been mentioned,, the only other advice to the Browning would be an Ithaca which is also a bottom eject.

Remington's new 105CTI autoloader is bottom eject - might be a good choice for a lefty.

Just saw a nice Banelli left hand semi auto yesterday. Looked really nice, but $900 also.

I have been shooting my long guns LH for 50+ years and you couldn't give me a shotgun that ejects out the left side. Being LH with the long gun gives me a great advantage over the RH shooters. I CAN SEE THE EJECTION PORT ALL THE TIME THEY CAN'T! This is all so true for the semi-autos. I can detect and clear stoppages before most RH know they have a problem! I don't like the safety placement on the 870's but that is what I use because I have had to use that gun for over 30 at work and I don't want to get use to anything else and make a FATAL mistake!!!!
