Have a european shotgun that sports a butt pad with the name "Don's Sports Shop" embossed on it, from Colo. Spgs. Might look in the phone book and see if they're still in business.

There are two gunsmithing schools in Colorado, Denver School of Trades and Trinidad State Junior College. They teach that sort of thing! Try contacting either one now the school year has started and I am sure some arrangement can be worked out.
