hay have any of you had the latch break? it's plastic and when i took out the magazine it brook in to four parts. why would they put that kind of thing in to hold the mag in? one more thing is there a way to keep the mag from rattling around in the gun when you walk it makes a lot of noise?
Get ahold of Remington and tell them about it. Chances are, they'll send you a new one at no cost.
Might try wrapping the magazine with a wrap or two of electricians or duct tape to take up a little of the slack.

thanks for the tip on te mag i'll try that and the latch costs $8.72 from rem. it was cheaper to buy the part then it was to send in the gun. i hope this one will stay together.

Sorry to hear about your luck with the mag latch. I sure hate plastic parts, but were seeing more and more of them. Just wanted to welcome you to the forum.

cblyman, was checking out my stepsons 710,went to take out the mag and the plastic latch broke into a couple of pieces.it still holds and releases the mag,but still.i didn't put a whole lot of pressure on it and it just broke.a piss poor design imo.-----jester68
