I just ordered two boxes of beartooth muzzleloader bullets. Has anyone used these bullets? I have been using hornady sst with great accuracy but expansion on whitetails has been rather poor. The factory rep said they heat treat them for big game such as elk or I can order them un-heat treated for maximum expansion on smaller animals like whitetails. If these shoot accurately out of my rifle they might be just what I am looking for.

Hey jlbeebe: I'd like to hear how they shoot in your gun. I've never tried the Beartooth bullets but was wondering how they would perform in my .50 inline. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks, grayghost

I am going to buy some harvester crush rib sabots to try with these bullets. I will post my findings.

From some of the recent field reports, the Harvester crush rib sabots seem to shoot quite well with the Beartooth 325g LFNMLSS bullet, with the advantage of loading much easier than most of the other sabot products currently available. Accuracy has been stellar.
