sounds like an interesting way to go, especially here where baiting is not allowed. But where would one obtain annise oil?

can get anise oil (peppermint oil works too) in the spice or baking section of the local grocery store.

I used to get my anise at Eckerds Drug in the pharmacy. You get the extract I guess. Very small amount. When I was bass fishing a lot I used it mixed with a regular size bottle of mineral oil for a plastic worm scent and attractant. I even used to cut the production scents with this combo but the straight mix worked just as good. I think all animals are attracted by the smell and for years it has been an excellant mask of human scent.

Put a little behind your ear and on your corn cart wheels now when going to feed your deer and you may have to fight them off to get to your stand when season opens.
