A hunter from the city bagged a big buck. Just about that time, the Game Warden arrived and asked if the hunter had a hunting license.
The hunter said he didn't have a license, so the Game Warden had to take the hunter and deer to town.
The Game warden helped the hunter drag the 300 lb deer out to the road-at which point the hunter exclaimed, "I just remembered-I do have a deer license after all.

My luck, the warden would not show up until I got the deer in the truck and I would have lost my license in the chase!

Giving false infirmation to an officer of the Law, I wonder if it's grounds for filing charges of filing a false Police report in CO.  :p

Just for the record, In Idaho you must tag the big game animal taken, as soon as you reduce the animal to bag. In this case, the city slicker (Californian)would still loose.
