I've heard some downers on Federal 200gr but had good luck with it in my latest 35. I started at 50yds becuase I didn't know if the scope was on or just mounted to help sell. anyways my first two shots touched. A little to the left of aim. My 100yd group was not as tight but still respectable, 2". I think I could have held better and maybe helped the group.Shot the green box 200gr and my Marlin did not like them. Did better with the 150gr Rem's.

Some say the winchester have a bit more whoop.
I find reloading tightened up the groups to just over the one inch in my RC with the ballard rifling .
If you reload try 42 grs . of BLC2 with the speer 180 FN. I also use the 2oo (RCBS mold) with the gas check, crimping on the middle of the top grove to clear the rifling. A charge of 40 grs of Varget gets the nod .I find I can leave the sites were they are for both loads. How ever the varget powder does not seem to want to shoot with the jacked bullets.
The 35 is loaded down for the older remington rifles still in use , but the Marlins can take a bit more powder. Knowing this and then reloading make the 35 remington shine.

I've gotten some very good groups out of the 200gr. Federal load, but all of the game taken with my gun has been with the Reminton loads, or handloads with Beartooth bullets.
Use what shoots best.

Never had a problem with the Green's 200 grainers. Shot so many, I'm reloading my empty cases with Bulk Remmie 200's again.
