Hi Guys,
Went to clean a new second hand 22 today. I fluffed around with the bolt trying to get it out. The only thing left was to remove the trigger assembly - didn't want to do that.

Any tips on how to remove the bolt.

I'm going to move this to the 22 rifle forum.

Open the bolt, push the safety hard ahead and pull out the bolt. I disassembled the bolt ONCE, and won't want to do it again.

Thanks for that. The action was very sticky due to being stored in a workshop for numerous years. I cleaned it a bit more and gave the safety a bit more push and it worked. I have a 788 action and thought it should come out that way. When it didn't I didn't want to damage it if I was wrong.
