I just purchased a new Remington XCR in .300 WSM this past week and I am looking for a really good scope to put on the gun. I am considering a Kahles or Leoupold... would like to hear from you guys.
Thanks.

Leupold all the way, you won't be disappointed!

You cant go wrong with a Leupold, I realy like the 3.5-10 with the Boone@Crocket reticle, warranty is no doubt one of the best. But you should look at the Khales with the TDS reticle. It is about the nicest scope out there,I like it better than my Zeiss Diavari. Also take a look at Swarovski, very nice.

Take a look at that Kahles multi zero scope, it's pretty neat. You can have 5 different zero settings for distance or loads.

Mate both of the scopes you mentioned make very good products. What you buy will depend on how huch you want to spend and on how you hunt. I own several scopes of each make, and I have a preference for the Kahles. However you will never hear me knock a Leupold. If most of your hunting is done at first or last light I think the Kahles is definately worth the extra money. They certainly perform very well in poor light. If you have the opportunity, it's easy to test this for your self, look through a Leupold & a Kahles of similar size at night. In my experience the Kahles will let you see more. However if you do most of your shooting when the light is good then I doubt if you'll pick any difference between them. For me I run Kahles or Zeiss on all of my hunting rifles and Leupold on my taget rifles. But in saying that if all I had to go hunting with was a Leupold I would not be too upset.
I think the model you select will make a bit of a difference though. I'd keep your scope as basic as possible. Go for a variable if you must, but I wouldn't waste my cash on buying illuminated reticles, adjustable optics, bullet drop compensators, etc. Just more stuff that can go wrong, and you have to pay extra for it.
Good luck in making your selection.
