Does anyone know of pig shooting opportunities in the South-West? I have heard of populations around Manjimup and was recently told of sightings near Collie (Wellington National Park).

Knocking on doors and asking is about the only way I know of getting onto places.
Feral pigs are found in pockets all around the south west.
Unfortunately a lot of it is national parks and govt controlled land. Thats why they are there if it was all private land they would have been controlled long ago.
Personally know of pigs through the Avon Valley from Toodyay to close to perth.
From Mundaring Weir all the way down the Bibulum track to Albany.
Forrest around the Harvey dams and yes the Collie area and pretty much any other govt controlled land with good water supplies.
Start asking of propoerties that ajoin these areas
Good luck.

how is the old bibulum track going?
i walked it in my final year of high school in 2002 with a group of a dozen or so students with a few teachers as part of our 'exploration society'. unreal coastal scenery.
we walked from albany to walpol.

heya wharf sorry late reply,
i know i should know for sure but im actually not sure how far it was. rustling through my photos and souvenirs i cannot for the love of me locate a map of our walk.
i attached a few pics and il search round and ask a few mates and get back to you on that one.
good walk, great company, the freedom made it an awesome trip. i know its off the topic of SW corner of WA but i also did another trip with our exploration society in 2000 (2 years before bibs), which was through Daveh's home country, the flinders rangers and strezleki desert with a big canoe travel down coopers creek when it was in flood. almost same group of peops and thinking about it now makes me wanna head bush again and get away from boring *** uni exams and the like.
oh well, summer's almost here maybe i can steal a day or two to get away?
btw in the photos i have the larger than usual hair.
