So my two favorite oddballs to shoot right now are my 10mm and my 45Magnum. The 10 isn't THAT odd, but I've never come across anyone else that actually has a 45 Win Mag. Does anyone here shoot one, if so What pistol is it in?

I've shot a couple of 45 Win mags, both in Contenders. I've handled a Wildey, but never shot one. Wouldn't mind having one, but, just don't care for guns that throw my cases away.

I have a contender barrel in the45 winchester. It is a good shooter.

Wow, there are four of us in the country. Stunning. I shoot mine from an LAR Grizzly, which is a Colt 1911 on steroids, but still has its balls! I don't get quite the velocity you boys get, and have to be super cautious with the reloading process to get super feeding and lockup, but it's a hoot. Other than tracking down the brass it throws 15'.

I liked my 45 WM....10" TC barrel and it could let you know it was a magnum. :)

Bad thing was it was a rimless cartridge and they just don't work that great in a break action...and I had a 44 Mag...so it got traded.

I have one of the early Lar Grizzly 45 mags. I haven't shot it for awhile, but one of my favorite loads was using a 260 gr. JHP, it has been dubbed, the flying manhole cover.

I've stuck with the 250 XTP's after losing a deer that another bullet didn't open up enough...no blood trail...found him several days later. And the recoil's about as much as I care for anyway. Found a .45 auto conversion kit last year, which does work. Busted the ejector, tho' but they're all the same size. I like it since it works like a Colt and fits the same holsters and all.
