Searched but no results so far. Thought I'd check the collective wisdom. I have a CZ 550 American Safari rifle in 458 Lott. It will also shoot 458 Win mag as well. I want to shoot cast bullets (specifically the 425gr./525gr. WLNGC bullets from Beartooth) however I could use some load data to get started. Suggestions.....
Thanks in advance!

I have used 71gr of 3031 with a 500gr cast gas check bullet. They shoot well, I had some hotter loads but was just starting to get some leading. That was in the Lott.

60-65 grains of H4895 with 500 grain WW cast bullets over CCI magnum rifle. Max load of 76 grains (usually a jacketed load) is safe but leads like crazy.
All this in a Ruger #1 458 lott.

This is a Lyman 552 Gr. Cast Gas Check I've had a lot of success with in both of my .458's and my .460 Weatherby. In the .458 it works well with 65.0 Grains of IMR 3031. It's shown with a loaded round of .458 Win. Mag and a round of .416 Rigby for comparision. Bill T.
