Just recieved an old Stevens 520 shotgun. I am new to shotguns and have no idea just what it is or how to take it apart. It has a 30 in barral and J Stevens 520 on te slide. It has a long tang, and the letter B on it. The ejector and screw are missing, and the lifter assambly is very weak. Can anyone tell me anything about this gun and where I can find some take down instructions.

You can get a schematic of the Model 520 from Gun Parts Corporation for about $1.00. Go to their website at www.gunpartscorp.com. Look under parts for Steven Model 520 and you are good to go. Hope this helps. All the best...
