I recently purchased a Winchester M670 in .243. I would like to possibly change the trigger and was wondering if, since the 670 was basically the economy version of the M70, I could replace the factory trigger with an aftermarket post '64 M70 trigger.

Welcome to the forum txshooter. Rules are simple, be nice and join in.

As for you question Winchester triggers are one of the simplest on the market. I believe that any post 64 M70 aftermarket trigger would fit. Best that you consult the experts though.

Talk to Brownell's tech section and ask the same question. Here's the link.

Yes, the triggers are interchangable. The M670 is merely a Plain-Jane version of the M70 only having a blind magazine, matt finish, hardwood stock and lackluster finish, but the heart of the system is all M70. Any of the aftermarket M70 triggers will fit and function fine!

God bless,
