Howdy all!! I am looking for a scope for my new 30-30 preferably variable, any suggestions?

For a close in brush gun I'd look carefully at some of the low power variables such as a 1.5 to 5. gives you a great field of view at close ranges. Another you might consider is the Leapold Rifleman in 2 by 7 power. These are available at Wally world and other outlets for well under 200 bucks and again give you a wide field of view at low power. They also carry a great warrentee.

Here is a good choice! I just ordered a 3x12 42mm AO and they are superb! Midway has them over $100.00 below list! Just one mans opinion Bob!
