I am just getting restarted in reloading shotshells and have exhausted my supplies of known componants. I do have approx 250 of these unknown red 12 gauge wads left, and would like to use them, provided I get a positive ID and can find suitable recipes. I typically use AA hulls, 18 gr Red Dot, 1 1/8 #9's and Win 209 Primers. I am guessing that the sporting goods store I use to purchase my componants from sold me this bag as a replacement for the Versalite or WAA12 (white) wads I had been using.. Still, I want to be on the safe side. Any assistance would be appreciated. Picture (hopefully) attached. Thanks in advance,
-John

It looks like the PC 12 Red wad, used for standard target loads, according to Lyman shotshell book, 4th Ed.

Thank you for the quick feedback. Looks like I need to get some updated manuals.. I browsed the 4th edition Lynman handbook and it appears that QuarterChoke is right. The wads in question are Pattern Control (Red).. Have a happy holiday and Thanks again!
