What exactly are you wanting to know? Are you looking for info for a specific gun/barrel type? Are you wanting to use slugs for defense or hunting? Do you have a rifled barrel, a smoothbore, or a rifled choke? The more info you give, the better chance you have of someone answering your questions.

The best resource we have on this forum is a gentleman named James Gates. I am surprised he hasn't already responded to your post. You might try looking for one of his posts and sending him a PM.
In the meantime, if your shotgun has a rifled barrel, then try some of the various brands of slugs designed for hunting with rifled barrels. Remington makes one called the Buckhammer. Hornady, Federal, and others make some as well. Try several and see which you and your gun like.
If your rifle has a smooth bore, you still have a few slugs to choose from, but I don't remember who makes them right off hand.
Good luck, and good hunting.

Federal, Remington and Winchester still make rifled (Foster type) slugs for deer and self defense. They are also making saboted slugs for fully rifled barrels now too.

Wolf makes a good Brenneke type slug. Inexpensive too (between $2-$4/bx)

Your going to need sighting equiptment better than the beads for shooting shot. Rifle sights or optics and a suitable mount for your shotgun. Shotgun beads just don't allow enough precision for good shot placement with slugs.

Just in from the range. I tested three different slugs using my Remington 1100 20Ga with fully rifled barrel. Remington 1oz BuckHammers, Remington Copper Solids and Remington Core Lokt Bonded Sabot. If you would like to see the grouping on a Shoot-N-See target send me an email request at Krag1899@aol.com. The shots were all fired from a benchrest at 50yds. File was too big for this site.

Krag - Upload them to Photobucket (it's free), then copy the links. Photobucket automatically resizes the pics for forums now...

There is a little window marked IMG under the pic. Copy all the text in that window - including the brackets - and paste it here. The pic should then show up - like this:

If you have a problem, "quote" this message and look at how the text inside the IMG bracket boxes is formatted. Make yours look similar.
