While watching the History Channel on TV yesterday, I saw an M-16 with a scout scope mount. The eyepiece was mounted to the carry handle and the objective bell was mounted to the handguard, both with large rings, probably 35MM or so. The scope looked like a 2-7x32. I have searched on the net but can't find this mount.

Any suggestions?

There are Weaver mounts that attach to the carry handle. I have one that never looses zero even when taken off and remounted. I use a short 3x9 42mm scope.
