In your load data section you posted a load for a 357 mag using your 185 gr bullet, 16 grains of H-110 and a small winchester pistol primer. I have a smith&wesson model 686 with a six inch barrel and a leupold 2x scope. I would like to use this pistol next year for deer hunting. Before I order powder is this load recommended for my gun. I would start with 10 percent less than shown and work up. I have never loaded heavy loads just target loads using bullseye. Any help from you or any member would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Should work great... I highly recommend using a chronograph to work up your load.
I shoot the same thing in a Ruger Blackhawk.
Best of luck.

I've been recommending that load to our customers for over 15 years at this point, and it is safe in all modern revolvers, and to answer your question, no, it won't loosen up your S&W any faster than other .357 Magnum loadings.
I have fired several hundred.... maybe more through my SP101, and although I can't say it's pleasant to shoot in that gun, it's had no ill effects upon the revolver.
Too, keep in mind that H110/W296 powders perform best and at their optimum efficiency curve when pressures are within the top 5% envelope.
God bless,
