iam new here looking for some help.saw an older lyman
press C style new in box for 25.00.color is orange.
looks like box says 1987 for year made.i will be
reloading 6mm rem 30.06 and 300 mag. anyone
know anything about this press

Any thing by Lyman is good no matter the age. It is a cast iron press and very strong. It will load anything you want to load. Better grab it for $25.00. If evereything is in working order, which I don't see why it wouldn't be, it will outlast you. Anything from RCBS, Redding, Lyman, they are all steel presses. Extremely strong.

Yup! I agree with Gizmo. Lyman makes good stuff. It would take effort to wreck one.
