i was thing about getting into the reloading scene. i have had good luck with federal ammo, but i think handloads are much more controlled in making. i am looking for a middle of the line setup. i will be loading a couple of different rounds. a 7mm-08, 30-06, and a 300, and maybe a 223 or 7mm mag depending on what i buy. just looking for some advise on a good press and dies.

thanks
andy

You'll get a lot of good advise. I'd scroll down to the bottom of the page, and check out the other stuff listed under "Similar Threads."

Good luck.

Seems like there outght to be a couple of sticky's addressing newbies interests. Maybe one for hand gun ammo and a separate one for rifle cartridges.

spatola911 - there is a whole lot more to this than a good press and dies and there are some current threads in this forum that can answer the exact question you're asking.

It's a great hobby/past time - jump in, get your feet wet, and you will have lots of very pointed questions you can get answered in this forum.
