I have a 94AE 30-30 It probley has about 200-250 rnd. shot my God you almost need a vice-grip to pull the trigger ! Anything a novice can do to lighten up the pull ?

You could take off the buttstock to gain access to the trigger. Flush out the action with the arosol product of choice. Oil contact surfaces and pivot points and reassemble.

That should help. I would look for a gunsmith beyond this.

Edit: Use a screwdriver that fits the head of the screw!

Your most welcome RML9MM. I don't know what's normal in new guns anymore? It sometimes seems that the factories try to rush them out the door before the qaulity control folks get to look at them?

I find that most any new firearm benifits from a good "detail" clean and lube job. Sorta like "breaking in" a new motor. Once it's lubed good, run it for awhile to allow parts to smooth each other. Then clean and lube again. Most get smoother over time. I hope yours is that way :) .
