I just purchased a Pachmayr Dominator. It is a single shot pistol chambered in 35 Remington. Made from 1988 to 1994. It is on a 1911A frame with a 14 inch barrel. Does anyone else have one and if so how do you like it? I shot mine today and it is a very accurate shooter. I just want to get some feedback from others that have one or have shot one.

Can't say that I've ever seen one 'cept in one of the gun magazines a long time ago. Sure haven't seen one in a gunstore here in Alaska. Should be an interesting pistola though. Sure would be a conversation starter. Can you post a picture of here on the forum? Let us see!!! :p

Anyone know where i could find a Pachmyar Dominator for sale ?
Sorta interested in the larger cals such as the 308 ect but interested in any larger cal .
Will consider complete guns or even a kit for converting the 1911a frame as long as its all there.

I've got an old video tape some where that has Hal Swiggett in it and it's about handgun hunting. They use the Pachmyer Dominator in the video and I believe the designer of the Dominator is in the video and he shows how it works.

HI all I have most Doms. Iown 5 units and 2 rifles I have made. I have a 22 hornet 308 44 mag 7Br and a 308 with a 5 in. barrel. Most are for sale. I have shot all of mine and almost all the outher cals. They are fun. If you can see it you can hit it.
