Today my beautiful Ruger #1 243 ended up in my granddaughters hands. She's been shooting it for a couple of years now and though she hasn't connected with a deer yet several coyotes and bunchs of ground squirrels have bit the dust for her.

The smile tells it all.

That is awesome Bob! Like the previous post, one day I hope to do that with my daughter. In fact, I keep telling my wife that when I add to the gun cabinet I am doing it for our daughter....lol.

Bob: If you are going to give such nice presents to your family,, would you consider "adopting" me.. Pretty little gal too and she sure has that look of true happiness with the gift.
