Am looking for a source for a rear receiver sight for Ruger 44 Mag. Bolt Action that mounts on the rear scope base? Any help would be appreciated.

Paul,don't know about the 44bolt gun, but NEG was offering a peep sight that attached to the rear mount on the 77's you mite check with them.

Leadbutt is correct. The New England Custom Gun rear sight will fit your 77/44 but would likely need a taller-than-factory front sight to allow a proper sight-in.

I would give Williams Gunsight a call,they should have what you are looking for.These require no gunsmithing and fit in the rear scope mount holes.I know they have them for the 99/44 and only cost $44.95 for the the front and rear peep in the firesight style.Hope this helps.
