Anyone willing to share some good spots for small game on public land?

So far this season I have been skunked---no small game sighted. Of course, when I was deer hunting with a high-powered rifle in my hands, I saw plenty of rabbits and squirrels. Isn't that always the way?

Hello......First of all let me know your loacation. Due to a severe dry summer, feed is scarce in all areas of Florida.

Hay Stone come on up here to Idaho we got loads of coyotes begging to be killed. It sounds like the Fish and Game is going to give us some kind of Wolf season in the near future. This spring the ground squirrels will be out sunning themselvs and there are so many turkeys that we have to wear traction shoes to keep from slipping and falling cause of the turkey poop everywhere.

Sounds like it's time to ditch all that sun and fun and get out west where there's still some hunting left.
