How are these?
The Ridgeline version. What would they be equal to?
Where do they rate, in other words.
I know they aint gonna be like a Leupold, but how are they?

Thanks in advance.

I've looked thru several at the gun shows. Seems like there clear enough. I've got a BSA 6 by 24 mounted on a 243 that does very well for the hundred buck price tag. I would imagine that the BSA line would be pretty comparable and perhaps the low end Simmons also.

You know you can get a Leapold 2 by 7 at Wally world for under 200 bucks. By far a "best buy" when you consider the lifetime warrentee.

One of the best scopes I've used in the past ten years is the Simmons AETEC in 2.8 to 10 power. It has a 44 foot field of view at a hundred yards set on the low power and I've always liked a wide field of view. The AETEC can be had for around $150 on sale at most mail order places.

Whenever you buy a low cost scope you roll the dice and take your chances. Lots of times it works out fine, but don't have bitter feelings if it doesn't.

The one Barska (Sportsman's Guide) scope I have is a 3x12x56 illuminated one. Heavy German sighting posts with a fine crosshair that illuminates.

A clear scope with good light gathering (56mm objective helps with this) but.......................

It won't hold POI (Point of Impact) with changes to the power ring. Have left it set on 6x for all hunting and target shooting. Not what I paid for.

Had a pair of their small binocular several years ago. Came apart when making the first focus adjustments. Sent it back and didn't bother with replacement, just had the money credited.

A great scope at or near that price point is the Pentax Gameseeker. These babies have really good optics, are fully-multicoated and there is a very durable one-piece tube.

Look through one. I think you'll agree that they're hard to beat for the money.
