I normally would not suggest a product unless asked to do so but the Alpen Apex is such a great pair of binoculars that i think they are worth a mention.I got my Alpens last summer and i have used them for two deer seasons so far and these are the best value that i have ever purchased for my outdoor pursuits.I have had these out in fog, rain, sleet and cold temps with no issues at all and i have even dropped them on the floor of my aluminum boat with no problems.I compared the Alpens to some binoculars that were as much as 4 times the cost and i could see no difference so the choice was easy for me.If anyone is in the market for a very good pair of binoculars that can compare to the most expensive the Alpens are worth a look.

The Alpen Apex is actually pretty bad compared to some others for the same price. The Eagle Optics Ranger SRT 10x42mm are about $50 cheaper, have better optical quality and have a much better warranty.
