I just brought home a Ruger Bisley Single Six .22 LR with fixed sights and 6 1/2" barrel. I am not much of a pistol shot but this gun felt good in my hands. Does anyone have any good or bad points to share with me about this gun? I'm guessing this is 20+ years old although it looks unfired and the cardboard box has more wear on it from handling than the gun.

It is a well made revolver. I have my "sights" on a single-six without the "Bisley" handle. It doesn't fit my hand in that frame size. I prefer it with the Blackhawks though!
I want mine with adjustable sights.

Just get out and shoot it. There darned near impossible to wear out. An old hunting buddy has one of the first single sixs produced and he's still chucking rounds out of it.

I've got the BH model with 6.5 ,AS and extra 22Mag cylinder. LOVE it. I shoot about 6-800 rnds a month out of it and it is a lot more accurate than I will ever be.

I have a New Single Six regular(?) grip. I like it but it shoots a few inches low. Need to get that fixed.

I put a scope on my single six. It was for squirrels but I have not been. Need to go.

Well if it's shooting low (at what distance?) then shave off some of the front blade.
