just purchased a burris 3-9x40fullfieldII and want to mount it on a stevens 200,7mm-08.this is my first rifle and was wondering what ring height i should buy to get the lowest profile possible?i guess i should say i want a one-piece base and burris signature zee rings.any and all suggestions would be a great help,thanks.-----jester68

A lot of the scope mounting manufacturers will publish a list of recommended bases/rings for certain types of scopes. Look in the shooting supply catalogs for these listings.
