This really seems like the ideal "take to the range" type press. What gets me is the smaller "stuff" that goes with it to reload a round.

Received the day before their Mic Trimmer and a couple of trimmer holders and am very impressed! Such quality! Looks like a "diamond in the rough" on my reloading bench. Not to say the Co-Ax is less but you know what I mean.

Probably does not require rocket science degree to make up a round but sure seems different than "threaded" dies certainly. For 235 bucks or thereabouts I can for example get a complete kit with say the die for my .30-338 Win and with a beam scale and hand primer, funnel, dippers etc... and all will fit into a tackle box type carrier and load a round at a time. Quite the setup with other acc.

Pretty simple to use? I gather? I recall before I began to reload I use to buy a few reloading manuals and get acquainted but this seems abit curious opposed to the ram - threaded devices we all know so well.

cheesh it seems like a rookie question. But rural living in Ak. is mostly home study via internet. Must be getting late in the evening for sure. just jabbering.

appreciate the help.

The Wilson dies are the best you will ever get. The only better are the dies that came with the rifle the benchrest gunsmith made to go with the rifle. At any benchrest shoot that's about all you will find up and down the firing line. The shooters using a single case and reloading it for the entire match. And using Wilson dies. You will load make some of the finest ammo for your rifle ever. Just do your part in preping the case's. Have fun TF

You're in the world of benchrest reloading now. The dies are kind of like a Lee Loader, but with a press instead of a hammer. ;)
