This pistol was given to me by my great-grandfather. It is a blowback operated .25 ACP. I have been trying to find it but it doesnt appear in any literature I can find. Any help as to the manufacturer or origin would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Any other markings? Take the grip panels off and look under them.

FYI, there were a LOT of copies of various handguns made in Spain .... that's the first thought that comes to mind. I have an old spanish .32 ACP that's almost as big as a Colt 1911! Recoil is barely noticeable, as you might guess.

A close up...or verbal description...of the little proof marks (cna see there are two, right side, one above the trigger and one just behind). No longer have the texts to chace this one down, so am operating off instinct...but the 3rd letter of the impression on the grip may not be a stylized "B", may a differnt alphabet (possible Russian, Greek, Bulgarian, etc.).

It's the trigger placemnt...and a faded memory...but I'm thinking Balklans (although that "triangle T" marking does look a lot like a Chinese mark I've seen before).

Is a Russian Korovin 6.35mm (.25acp). Considering they've never been offered for sale in the US, he'd have had to pick it up "first hand".

Thanks, much for the quick reply. I had thought it was Russian, but a friend said an early model Walther even though it says Walther no where on the gun. Does anyone know of an online listing of make and proofmarks for foreign guns?
