who uses the big loop levers, like this one

on their Marlin lever guns?

Are they any good, should I even worry about it? I just think it would be cool to be able to use gloves with it. Of course I am just dreaming right now since I don't have any lever guns yet. Heck I might not even need it when I do get some lever guns. I'm just looking for opinions, thanks!

Niner, I own a couple of LGs. Both have the 'normal' lever. Now I live in FL and don't even own a pair of gloves other than the leather work type but I would say that gloves would fit in the regular levers.

Also I think the large loop would make it difficult to jack a round with out grabbing it like a jack handle.

If that's a DRC it's very very well made and I have one on my Marlin. One of the best things I did too it. Much more comfortable.

I didn't open the addresses you gave, but I concur with saguaro Kid. The DRC is an excellent and I consider necessary improvement to my Marlin 95G. I don't know if he's still in business, but try Dave Clay in Arlington, Texas. His glove lever is just oversized enough to make it comfortable without having something that's so big enough it'll hook on every passing branch.

The large loop levers sold by midway are from DRC Custom

actually the one I was originally looking at was Wild West, but I guess midway went to the DRC now because I can't find the WildWest ones anywhere.

Thanks for the responses guys!
