Well, I have decided on the XD .45 compact instead of the S & W. I really like the safety features and the .45 caliber. Does anyone recommend a good inside the belt holster for this gun? I plan on making it my primary carry gun. I have a couple of Uncle Mike's and have always had pretty good luck with them but thought I would just put it out there and see what you guys had to say.

I own 2 DeSantis holsters and they are miles above the Uncle Mike's that I own.
I would try either the DeSantis Pro Stealth or the DeSantis Tuck This for IWB carry of the XD45 Compact. I also own an XD45 (4").

I just bought a Fobus and I am pretty happy with it. I like the fact that you can take it off with no belt unbuckling as I am in and out of the car pretty often. I messed around with the Blackhawk holsters with the Serpa retention lock and I found it a little awkward to work.

I use a www.comp-tac.com CTAC slide for my XD9/XD 45.
AFAIK the 45 compact is the same slide/frame, just a chopped grip, so it should fit that holster. Comp-tac will know for sure and are really great to talk to/work with.
