I recently purchased a 527 Varmint in 204 Ruger (wood stock). I'm curious about scope/ring combinations. I've seen several different rings, but I'm not sure which brand or height to get. I have an older Burris Signature 3X12X44 PA laying around, and I want to make sure I get the correct ring height. If that doesn't fit, I could swap the 3X12 with a Fullfield II 3X9 as an option. The 3X12 is the older design that has the turrets farther forward which may be a problem, too.
