Anyone else noticed ( or cared ) that the clock on this forum is off a bit? My posts seem to appear with a time stamp that's later than my local time, not by a 1 hr time zone, but by a ½ hr. Is it in its own time zone, or what?

No one has answered this before, and it has been asked. I suspect the server is located in Newfoundland which does have its own odd time zone that is 30 minutes ahead of Eastern time. If you look at a World atlas you can see this, or a Rand McNally road atlas for the US & Canada.

Hmmmm....................

The posting time has never been an issue before - to tell the truth, I've never really paid that much attention to it..

I noticed that the time was different, but here in Alaska its dark now so we never know what time it is and we dont worry. Come spring when the sun comes back...

The server clock has been gaining time for a couple of years. If they don't fix it when the new change over to DST comes on March 11, we''l be an even hour ahead in a year.

The server is in Colorado, not Newfoundland. Even it it was in NL, the server should be running the proper offset from Greenwich, now CUT, time. If it was, you'd see the correct time on the posts.

If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, it tells you the "current" server time. It says that the times are GMT -5.

That depends on your time zone. Click on the USER CP button and then Options to select your time zone.

Actually, there's an "Atlantic" time zone in between, so NFL is 1½ hr off from Eastern.
