I've got a Frankford Arsenal shaker. It seems to work okay and haven't had any problems with it in about 3 years that I've owned it. Guess since it's the first one I've used ,,, really didn't have anything else to compare to.

Pricewise, the Frankford Arsenal tumbler and I believe it carries a lifetime warranty. Early Midway/Frankford tumblers have had some problems but that seems to be no longer the case. Might do even better on ebay providing you ask the seller questions regarding condition. The used one I got on ebay runs quieter and works better than the same tumbler I bought new. Go figure!

greg,
You may want to keep your eyes open on Midway and get that tumbler in one of their kits. They have the Tumbler kits on sale on a regular basis and some of the items they include in the kit are real handy. Here is a link to one of their kits.

I have an RCBS case tumbler that I bought in 1989 and it is still working fine. A few years ago, the motor went south. I called RCBS and they asked me to return it for repairs. They fixed it for free.Love that RCBS warranty program. All the best...

In 1997, my RCBS case tumbler was returned for service because it was noisey. Bought the tumbler new in 1991. RCBS replaced the motor for free. Has been working fine since. Might pay a little more for RCBS equipment but they do stand behind their products.

well I ordered the RCBS Vibratory, sounds like if anything go wrong their warranty will cover it.

Greg,
RCBS products are more money but they are good and I have never heard of a complaint about their customer service. Their customer service is tops.

Thats good to hear, I'd rather spend a few more dollars anyday than have problems when I want to use something.

I have a vibratory tumbler I got from Midway maybe 15 years ago. They issued a recall on it but I never sent it back. Seems there was a cooling problem on the motor that could cause a fire when used on a rug or carpeting?? I do all my reloading/cleaning in the basement so never had a problem. I could just install a small fan on the motor, but so far have not seen the need. Emery
