Sorry about the capitals but I guess I hit the capslock while entering my username. Just stumbled onto the site and there seem to be a good bunch of people with significant knowledge.

I've been a handloader for the last seven years and live in bush alaska.(use a satillite system for internet) I appriciate being able to participate and I'm sure I will learn a lot. Wanted to say "Howdy" to everyone.

AKBUSHRAT,

Welcome to the forum. Rules are to be polite and not post anything you'd be embarrassed to explain to an 8-year-old (we have some young readers).

Enjoy your time here. We look forward to your contributions.

Welcome aboard Bushrat. Nice to see another Alaskan. Makes about 5 or 6 that are active, or semi-active, from Alaska we have here now.

Thanks for the welcome. Does anyone know when the gun show at UAF is this spring? I'm trying to schedule my trip into town and would like to have them coincide if possible. I know it's usually in early to mid april. (I think I saw some posts from other people in the interior) Thanks.

Boy the gun show at UAF brings back memories. The last show I was at we had an incident and the college wouldn't let us back the next year. I was on the clean up committee and was sweeping when all of a sudden there was a shot. Somebody had a shell in a lever and didn't know it. He pulled the trigger and put a hole in the bleachers. No one was hurt but it sure got your attention.
