View Full Version : Redding Profile crimp die problems with .431 bullets?

I bought a Redding Profile crimp die for 44 mag and have ordered some Beartooth Bullets sized to .431.

In a couple of places I recently read that the Redding Profiile crimp die may not work properly with bullets sized larger than factory standard.

Opinions???

Thanks,

Dave,

I haven't encountered problems yet with mine... nor have I had any feedback from customers indicating a problem with the .44 profile crimp die from Redding, and even up to .4325" bullets.

Let us know what you find!

God Bless,

Marshall

Dave,
I have one of those in 45/70 caliber, and regularly load .459 bullets,as well as standard .458 ones without any problems whatsoever. i also load .457 bullets with ease.
