Sorry! I thought that I was posting this in "Gunsmithing". Also could not figure out how to delete it!

I have a Model 1894 Marlin 38/40 made in 1895 that I am looking for a firing pin for. The pin got remover "Years" ago to keep a small boy (Me)from shooting it.

Also, any thoughts on shooting the rifle with either Cow Boy loads or 38/40 Remmington ammo.

Try www.gunpartscorp.com. They should have one in stock. As far as getting one for the older model 1894, the late model firing pin also works in the early models. I have a 1894 manufactured model 1894 that has a late model firing pin in it. (1977 manufacture.)
