The question and answer made me cry. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

That is priceless. Quite an elaborately constructed provenance. He forgot the part where .45 ACP hardball travels back in time for loading Billy's Smith & Wesson Colt Schofield 1911. No doubt the fellow is wondering where all the bids are?
I like the condition: "Used".
His starting bid is .99. Nobody's been unwarry enough to post that much yet. maybe I should? But that would be wrong. This is 'priceless'. Heh, heh, heh.

I will start the bid at $1.01. I think my 1988 imported Norinco 9mm clone will fit nicely in that used holster. I hope it's lined as my Norinco is in a nice blued condition and would not like to have that old holster harm the finish. What do you guys think????
Why did he have to include all that French and Billy the Kid cr*p??
What relevance does that possibly have??
heh, heh.

Jim:
I guess you know! My wife is part Irish and part French and I don't know what comes out more when she gets "stirred" up!
I am so happy she's not into guns, this lets me sleep nights, heh, heh.
P.S. I think I'll pass on the holster, I would rather have the coffee!

I think the funniest thing I ever saw on eBay was the poor guy trying to sell dummy .303 rounds. eBay had shut his auction down a time or two it seems and he had gone to great pains to be VERY clear that these were not live rounds. He used the term, "inert, as in not ert which might cause someone harm", or something very close to that effect.
He got a few good bids in support of his battle with eBay's idiocy.

Unless re-dyed it isn't even an early 1911 holster. The Army went to black in the mid-late 1950's! But the story has to be the most un-adulterated bunch of BS anyone ever dreamed up!

I remember that one Michael. What a hoot :D ! I think I remember that he re-listed some empty unprimed cases shortly afterword. Went to extreme lengths to make clear that it was totally empty brass. Disclaimers were hillarious :D :D :D . An Austrailian I think  ?
I printed both of them out to show my coworkers and friends.
