I'll give it a try again, but I shoveled the snow off one target frame this afternoon and I expect the range will be under water next week. Might be a while before you see targets.

My load is the 200 Remington Core-Lokt, R-P brass, Winchester WLR primer and 37.5 grains of IMR 3031. This is a full snort load from IMR.

I'm with ya'. although my trip-4 is my favorite, my 336CS-35Rem is just as accurate and actually posted a bit better in last years match. I changed loads with the 35Rem to Hornady 200gr RN/H4895/39gr and it's a tack driver. But, I think that BTB .432"-290gr (in the 444) will be consistently my best.

Best,
Dan

Dang it! I was counting on first place for a couple of weeks anyway. What's this .35 you speak of?

I think I'm going to shoot my .35 in the match once I get it sighted in (and if it shoots accurately, still haven't really found out as it doesn't hit paper yet). This'll be my first time shooting in the match, and I'm excited about it.

There may be a Marlin somewhere that can't keep five shots on a piece of paper but I ain't never seen it.

Shoot that thing and send in some targets.

If your not on the target, don't waste time shooting the wild blue. Set a target up about 50 feet and see where they are going. If you still aren't hitting get closer!

Plenty of free advice around here on how to get her tuned up.

Yeah, when I first shot it I expected that the previous owner had it sighted in, so I took it to the 100yd public range and proceeded to get hit in the head by the scope with see-through rings. I'm taking the scope off for next time. Also, since the last time I shot it I have joined a rifle club that I can shoot at any distance I want, so 50 feet sounds about right.
